Ok, we’re just wrapping up here at Mike Smith Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and we’re in Beaumont, Texas.
We’re up in a parts room in a mezzanine and this is how their tool system turned out.
You can see back over here on this particular project that we built a wall for it to put the panels on. These are their shelves.
So, we have a mobile app that you download to your phone, it’s called Toolsguard. And, when you’re looking for a tool it’s going to tell you exactly where it is located in the tool room.
The app will display that it’s on one of these shelves or it’s on one of the panels. Everything is labeled. When they come to get that tool they can either scan a QR code and take that tool or if they found it out before they came up to the part area, they can sign it out and parts will retrieve it for them.
Over there is one of our rack systems and we have all of the recommended and double tools in there.

We left them three panels for growth, they have room to grow on their shelves and on their panels.
We’ve re-purposed this shelf up here and put all of their heavy fixtures on it. They also have QR codes on them. They sign them out and tell you where to bring it back to and it tells you who has it.
Here’s looking down the other way. We also put down ply-wood flooring above where the tool area is, to prevent a tool from falling through and hurting someone.
With that, we worked with Kurt and Terrance, Matt Hope and a couple of other guys over here. They were a great team to work for.
