Tool Organization Ford Dealers – Our A-Team traveled out to Charles City, Iowa to organize a tool room for a Ford, Chevy, Buick and GMC dealership.

Just wrapping up at Mike Molstead Ford, Chevy, Buick and GMC in Charles City, Iowa. It’s up in the parts room.
We come up these steps and down here…
we have seventeen panels for GM, with four shelves. This shows you the shelves with their kits and fixtures on them, labled and in numerical sequence. This is their boards.
And down in here, we have the recommended tools. One of them boxes is the latest non-current tools – it’s a forty box which we keep on hand. Over in here we have the bolt fixture…some fixtures.
Down through there you can see there are seventeen GM panels. There is one panel…one in a quarter panels left.
And then we get into the Ford. We have fifteen panels for Ford and this show you the Ford job. Open it up and show you what it looks like on the panels…that’s what it looks like.
And here’s their kits – the ones we left intact. If their an essential tool there is a tag on the board referring back to it. If it’s a desirable tool, uummm, you’ll have to find that data on the computer.
So, we had to build this wall back here…we built this wall and tied it into the cealing and put two by sixes…peg board and two by sixed it. Used it to put up some of their fixture stuff. And then, we have three panels over here.
This is how it turned out, they have about a panel…panel in a half, almost two panels for growth for the Ford. And, there’s a look down through there.
We’re going to thank Tool Org. for the job and thank God for his help as always. And with that, it is Friday, the end of the day…almost five o’clock and we’re just wrapping up.
