Volvo Mack Tool Organization

Here is an auto dealer tool organization systems project completed for a Volvo/Mack dealer in Racine, Wisconsin by Tool Org’s own A-Team, Woody and Dawn.

Ok, we’re just wrapping up here at Kriete Vovlo Mack Truck and we’re in Racine, Wisconsin. This was a seventeen panel job and they have Volvo, Mack, Hino & Cummins.

This shows you the panels. It’s a little narrow going down through here. So, I apologize. And the room is also dark. They have to get some lights fixed.

I wanted to give you a video of it to show you what it looked like. Let me see if I can stand back and show you. This shows you their panels. These panels are on fourteen inch centers and they had two pieces of wall mount, that we mounted to the wall.

It shows you their Volvo. We ended up using seven panels for Volvo. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven… yep! And then, we hung up three Mack.

Even though it’s Volvo/Mack, the numbers separate out themselves, so, we go ahead and label them like that. Then we used three panels for their Cummins tools, two panels for Hino’s and we used their last panel for universal stuff.

Seal installers…we put their sockets up here. Their axle sockets on this piece. This shows you they have five shelves and we put all their stuff on them and labeled them.

We used this first shelf for the Volvo/Mack stuff. Next shelf for the Cummins. Then we have a shelf for Universal stuff and, this last shelf we put their test modules on it. We also put their Hino tools and some of their universal stuff here on the bottom.

We worked for Mike and Ross here. Some great guys to work for and they have a really nice tool room. We think it turned out nice. They like it.

They are going to use this whole back side for storage of equipment and they are going to setup charging stations along on this little shelf they have right here.

So, that is what it turned out like. And, with that, I’m going to shut the video down and get down the road.
